Sorry, I may be MIA on this blog for a while. Cancelling the wedding has been a lot of work - and I thought putting on a wedding was hard! I kind of liked this rant to urinal sculptures. Maybe I should send my ex one? If only they made one that looked like his face... That would be awesome. Anyway, peace out, guys, I got to go find people to let them know the wedding is off. Bye!

That's right! You heard it here first! The wedding has been canceled! It's over! It's done! We had a huge fight! A huge one! About the empires cashback of all silly things! Can you believe it?? Ugh, so much stuff to take care of - canceling the church, the priest, the reception, the gifts - okay, maybe not the gifts. I practically have to do a people search to uninvite all the guests - and I'm tempted to people search all his ex-girlfriends ever just so we can gossip about him. That might be fun.

Wedding Insanity

The wedding is getting even closer, guys, and I'm not calming down! If anything, I'm growing more and more frantic day by day. We've been getting in tons of fights, too which I hear is actually pretty common with people leading up to their wedding. I sure hope so, cause if it's gonna be like this for the rest of our lives, I don't want anything to do with marriage. These are normal thoughts, right? I mean, the cake is great, so I'm still into the wedding. But what about afterwards? Sigh. I just worry a lot, I think. That's it. That's gotta be it. I've put so much into this wedding that to dash it all to the ground over some silly fights would be the stupidest thing ever I could even imagine happening or doing to myself and to my fiance and to all the people who have cheered us on and supported us through thick and thin. Maybe I should find someone to help me with this. Someone who I don't owe a lot to. I'm pretty darn good at people searches so this shouldn't be a problem. Finding Solutions to Wedding Troubles

Wedding fever is truly upon me. I thought it was bad before (so did my fiance, I bet!) but that was nothing. It's gotten so bad that it's infected my fiance...he can't do anything or go anywhere without thinking about the wedding and how he has to plan for it. Hehe. At least I'm not alone! We did, however, find the best cake maker in the entire world. OMG, cake tasting is like the best part about getting married. We tried sooo many cakes, but finally settled on Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting. I'm thinking about getting our marriage annulled just to have another wedding for this cake. It's that good, guys. I found this cake maker because an old classmate I ran into told me that she had heard another former classmate was now a gourmet cake maker. I used a site I often use tofind people and sure enough, there she was! We met up and she was pretty surprised as to how I found her. Told her I just used a people search engine and she had no idea what it was. I think I'm gonna have to teach her the fine art of people search in return for the amazing wedding cake she's making. So that's taken care of, yo might be wondering why I'm still freaking? Get married, then you'll know. In other news, I've been trying to take my mind off the madness by reading Giant Lists, especially this list of favorite ulterior motives. So funny, and so true. I've also been taking One a Day to get slim for my dress. Wish me luck!

Wedding Plans!

Well, the wedding plans are in full swing. I know we said that we were going to wait a while, but we just couldn't! I didn't realize how hard planning a wedding and going to school would be. But, I have to say, our moms have been soooo helpful! I have hardly had to do anything, except pick everything out. I'm lucky I don't really need to find people now to help me, because my family is so awesome! We're getting married in August, so I wanted everything to be really summery and light and pretty! Oh man, I am turning into such a girl with all this wedding gushy talk! I am usually pretty ungirly. I'm trying to find a person to come help style me! Well anyways, I have been trying to track down old friends and distant family from both sides for invitations, but it's really hard to locate a person you haven't spoken to in a while. Who knows, I'm going to do some people searches today and see if I can find someone today! Hopefully, because I want a big wedding! Oh god there I go again....

Wedding wedding wedding is all I can think of! I'm floating through life now and all I can talk about or do is wedding stuff. I'm probably one of those really annoying women about to get married who can't shut up about it. Haha. Oh well. I figure I'm due and I deserve it! Even though the actual ceremony is fairly fall off, Kevin and I have really been proactive in planning. Kevin even got me subscriptions to all the bridal magazines. What a sweety, huh? I guess that's why I'm marrying the big doof. So even though I don't have to run background checks anymore, I'm still doing person search just cause it's in my nature. Oh, and I'm going to person search in order to find some old friends and relatives to invite to the (future) wedding. Anyway that's it for now. Got more planning to do. I'll just leave you with Giantlist's staff pet peeves to laugh away the day.

I'm engaged! It's true, Kevin proposed over the New Year! I was beyond tears. I mean, we haven't been dating for a long time, but I knew that's where it was headed. I just didn't know we would get here so soon! The ring is beautiful, and he planned it at my family's annual New Year's party, so all my friends and family were there. I am blown away. He got down on one knee and everything. He said he knew it was soon, but he just couldn't wait any longer. After all the excitement calmed down, we went over logistics. We both want to finish school before we get married, so we're going to have a bit of an extended engagement, which is fine by me. But, I still bought some wedding magazines and started to people search for wedding guests! My sister is so weird. She told me to do a background check on Kevin, just to be sure. I smiled, and nodded, because I definitely think that is going a little overboard. Talk about finding a better you in 2008! I am so happy! I will be back with more updates!

Taking one for the team

Hello again and welcome back to Find A Person. As you know I have found my person, Kevin and I are still going strong. Besides our opposing Baseball teams we're a match made in heaven. For Halloween this year we dressed in our team uniforms, it was really cute. Really if we didn't have that to argue about we would never argue, and you need a little strife in a relationship for it to feel real, know what I mean. Boyfriend and People Search

I'm sure you're all dying to know, my boyfriend and I are doing great. I can't believe I found him; we're like a perfect match.My last boyfriend was a real loser and treated me awful. He really traumatized me, and because of him I didn't date much for a while. Then I met Kevin. I was super reluctant at first, because I didn't want to get hurt, which I think is understandable. I think the thing that baffles me the most is how much we have in common. We like all the same music and movies; it's crazy. Although we do have opposing baseball teams. I am a diehard Dodgers fan and he loves the Red Sox because he grew up in Boston. It's tough on game days, but I think the adversity only makes us stronger as a couple. But the biggest thing that surprised me was that he was into searching for people too!! I mean none of my close girl friends can find a person online to save their lives. It's hard to find person who likes finding people, if that makes any sense at all. Anyways, I have to go get ready for him to come over. Check you guys later!

So, it's a month since I last came around these parts. Last time I blogged, I had just come back from a coffee date with that guy from my class. Well, now we're officially together! He just asked me to be his girlfriend last night. I was so excited. Things had been going really well since that first date. It so obvious that we were way into each other. My friends really like him too! I hope that his friends like me as well. That's always the best, when you get along with each others' friends. I can't believe that he's into people search too though. Totally bizzare, and yet I think it's a sign that it's meant to be. We were finding people online together last week and we found a couple links I thought we should share. I just said "we"!
